The build of Jenny

So update on the death wobble. Getting closer. Did the steering box last night. Old was definitely bad and it is much more stable but under the right condition I can still get wobble. Swapping ball joints today now. I currently have prosteers that are about 3 years old but I've got an old set of Oreilly's brand laying around in my old axle so I will just warranty those out and put them in to see what happens

Rockin, what's the status of the wobble issue? Did you get it ironed out?

Just got back from Moab on Tuesday. It was a hell of a trip that started with 5 Jeeps and at one point was down to just mine with two broken on a trail. At the end we had all 5 going but getting two off the trail cost us our final day of wheeling. In all I got to run a couple of trails in Area BFE, Rusty Nail, and Golden Spike/Gold Bar Rim about 5 times (one way each time). I'll upload the few pictures I was able to snag shortly.

The few pictures I got from Moab. Also I've been tip toeing within about 300 miles of 100,000 for about two months now and have been refusing to drive the Jeep as much as possible. My goal was to hit that milestone while in Moab and wouldn't you know: she turned 100,000 while on Gemini Bridges road heading back in to retrieve a Jeep from the Golden Crack IMG_2768.JPGIMG_2765.JPGIMG_2773.JPGIMG_2769.JPGIMG_2771.JPGIMG_2763.JPGIMG_2749.JPGIMG_2754.JPGIMG_2758.JPG

Man those cooper 37's look big!

They do and man did they perform great! I've only got about 300 miles on them and am in love so far. We had my coopers, bfg km'2s, and general grabber red labels with us and I can honestly and confidently say my coopers were hooking up the best. I'm very happy with 37's and at this point don't know if I want to be any wider or go to 40's. There were several spots where I was as wide as I could be without taking a drastically different and more difficult line.

Best news I have though is that next weekend I will be installing hydro assist steering and the following weekend the Jeep goes into the shop for 5.13 gears, rear locker fix, exhaust leak fix, and finally installing the EVO front long arms ive had sitting around since December! Then my shake down run will be another trip to Moab towards the end of may!

Been a couple weeks so I figure I'll post a status update:

My Auxbeam Pods were stolen along with the spare drag link I had in the back. I am running my bikini top with a wind jammer and tonneau cover so there is about an 8" gap between the rear door and wind jammer to grab the drag link View attachment 250822

Man that sucks so bad. I welded the nut on my LED' s so someone can't quickly unbolt them. But it doesn't stop them from removing the factory star bolt. It gets my blood boiling just hearing yet another story of thievery.
