cut my angle iron for my CB antenna and future flag mount. going to use the factory plug to go around my CB cable.

For the price, it works fine, if it breaks, I'll buy another. I have opened the carrier with heavy force and it clicks fine, I don't see it breaking, seems well made. Just a heads up, even after the weld has cooled completely, it will feel like the plastic part is cross-threading. I think the metal changes a little after all the heat. I just made sure it wasn't cross-threaded and used some pliers to slowly tighten the plastic part (after the metal cooled of course). I've only had it a few months but love it. The custom applications are endless to where/how you can install it.

Phase 1 complete! paint is a little crappy but oh well you'll never really see it. Next up is my high lift mount and then the carrier. put some trim strip on the edges.
used the factory plug for my coax cable.
disconnect CB antenna. Can't wait for phase 2.
