I'd probably stick a hanger or something in there carefully and pull them out.Oooh okay [emoji108] the passenger side came out without them, is that okay?
Lol. Never done it, but I've seen several say to loosen the bolts holding it in and pull out the carrier a bit so you can pay attention the the shim stacks on either side... You'll need to put them back the same way they came out.View attachment 313033 now how to pull the gears... any pro tips?

Pry bar carefully, or I think I saw someone use a ratchet strap to pop it loose.I took pictures of either side, I pulled the bolts and brackets holding it in place... but it’s just so tightly wedged in there it doesn’t want to come out lol

That's not the inside of the seal on the left?I think I punched out something extra with the axle seals...View attachment 313035 the piece to the right of the seal cane out of the driver side
