Sorry....nothing to report. I have been in Dallas (sitting in the airport now) so haven’t had a chance. I’m hoping to be pretty close to putting axles on this coming weekend.
Safe travels!
Having a little issue on the parking brake cables, I’ve got to talk to Dan on Monday. But, the Jeep should be rolling by Tuesday.

What’s wrong?
Square peg in a round hole. I’ll let you know what I find out

Are you using the factory cables or did you get the longer ones? What do you mean square peg round hole?

More of a metaphor, but different connections at each end.
Still the factory cables for now. Did you have to switch to the long cables?

I tried re routing the factory ones first and it can be done but I think they need a spacer like dynatrac used to use to get a decent parking brake. The longer cables route all the way back in the factory locations. They attach correctly without a spacer and take less adjustment to get a good parking brake.

Where did you get the longer cables?

Quadratec or Northridge I can’t remember which. Same cables recommended for UD60’s as I recall.
I think these are the part #s

Much appreciated. Now to go spend more money [emoji849]
Believe me I feel your pain. I keep commenting as these things come up hoping I can help others learn from my mistakes. The end result is worth it though. Hopefully there aren’t too many little surprises on the upcoming Hemi swap. Should be diving in to that little project next week.
