Tesla solar can fuck off -Rant

Elon can send the largest object to ever fly to space and then catch it with a pair of chopsticks. If he could make the Tesla shingles affordable and effective, he would have done it by now.

I care about the planet I just know that my tiny little system isn't going to do a damn thing. The whole united states could have them and it wouldn't do a damn thing. The only reason i recycle anything is because it saves spave in my trash can for other things...haha. I got them because they are saving me money on electricity, got a stupid low interest rate for 20 years, will eventually pay for themselves if I stay in the house, and can be a good marketing ploy (paid solar) when I sell. The sucker's are the ones who lease the system or enter into a PPA (Marketed as free solar with stable rates). Those people opened a whole can of worms for themselves. Have to try to get a buyer to take the contract or have the system removed from the house and take it with them. That's ridiculous.

California fucked solar, anyone buying now only gets to keep 50% of what they produce, so you need a system that produces way more than you need to pay for itself.

Not to mention, power bills are going to be based off your income,

Did I mention I’m moving to Nevada yet ? 😂

Yeah they did. Electric companies were losing money because of it so they needed a way to recoup that so the PUC put that new thing together. Fortunately I got in before they changed it. That's why backup batteries are being pushed so hard by solar companies. There is little incentive to get it without it. It's only another $15k or so....haha.
