Sway bar quick release links

I just installed a set of JKS quick release sway bar links on my 13 JKU. I have a Mopar 2" lift. Before I go out on the trails I'm wondering if I need to add new brake lines.

My lift came with rear break line relocation brackets but nothing for the front so when I saw it pulling tight on flex at home I bent the steel tube of the break line to relieve the tension IMG_4588.jpg
Edit I have a 2.5 lift for reference

Thanks chipper. Short of actually breaking the lines, what should I look for? I'm not a mechanic

You just want to be looking at your break lines to see how tight they are getting. If they get to tight you should get a relocation bracket or even better longer lines. You want your shock to limit your droop, if your break lines do your sure to break them. My 3" lift came with longer break lines.

My lift actually called to do this. It's pretty strong lil tube, but you can bend it from 90 down to 45 to get more droop.

OP, flex it out and just feel each line to see how tight it is. In some cases you can just pull one of the stock clips so it's not attached to the frame in so many locations so you have some more slack. If you really think it's an issue, some SS braided ones are nice.

Just cut off the axle bracket on the front brake lines. At the base of the shocks. This will give you plenty of slack

Cycle your axle at home and with the axle fully drooped on each side, make sure the brake lines still have slack in them.

Yep, heard of guys doing this as well.

I have done this. I didn't have the courage to cut the bracket off without cutting the line i honestly just took the bolt out of the bracket and moved the line to the outside of my shock. Never had a problem.
