Suds of the Day

A celebration tonight. I had not lifted weights for several years due to nagging shoulder injury that would flair up every time I got started.

At the beginning of July, I decided it was time to get my ass back in the gym. I started slowly. And thankfully no pain.

Set a goal that I wanted to bench press 225 by my 42nd birthday which is at the end of October.

Tonight I not only did 225. I one rep maxed 235.

Now that I’ve achieved that goal I’m going back down in weight and focusing on more total body fitness. But I am happy I did it.

extra stout will put hair on your chest.
...unlike an ipa, which only gives you hair in a bun.
