Well, like it says, it's a light beer. Similar to PBR or rolling rock. It's pretty good for what it is.

After mowing my grass/leaves I decided to start getting a handle on my basement beer fridge and come up with a plan for eventually emptying it out so it can be moved. As I was sorting through it I found a couple of ‘big bottles’ in the bottom drawer that I’ve been saving for a special occasion. Well that would be now!
We first discovered Firestone Walker during a trip to wine country and have loved it ever since.

Black Butte Porter XXIV! This is Deschutes Brewery’s 24th Birthday Reserve. This is a brewery I have not visited but would really like to, I like a lot of their beers.
Once we move to Nevada we plan to make the drive to Bend and check it out.
It’s 11% ABV and 12 years old! It will either be awesome or I will die in my sleep!
It is delicious!!

The same! There is a restaurant in Cave Creek Arizona that we would go to that carried Left Hand and it made me realize there was more to beer than the big names.

Islamorada Channel Marker IPA from The Florida Keys. Should be getting out of here just before Milton hits. Fingers crossed.
Also had this one on the train to Fort Lauderdale. Was good but didn’t get to enjoy it. Had to pound it before the next stop.
