Suds of the Day

Hmmph. First time I've been disappointed in a beer in a long time. It tastes like a watery IPA, which being a pale ale I guess it kinda is. IDK, maybe would be a good one for someone that doesn't like the bitterness of the IPA's. Hope the wifey likes it....got 5 more in the fridge

I am not sure how it came to be that most IPA's in the stores are of the "juicy" or "hazy" type. According to Wikipedia, this type of IPA was originally called a "New England IPA". It does not take long to tire of fruit juice with a high alcohol content.

IPA's are traditionally pale.

The Wikipedia page has a photo of a beer called Pliny The Elder, which I would like to try.
