Not sure what time you were planning to do it (I am guessing the normal, like 6) but Green Flash has a brewery tour for $5 and it includes a half hour tour and 4 beer tastings but that starts at 5.

Ale Smith's tasting room is only open until 7, and Port has food trucks and happy hour specials.

I think my vote would be for Port, kind of in the middle for everyone.

Got the day to myself. What better way to spend it than driving in my Jeep, meeting MTG/scoping out his rig and beer with the new Jeep family. :yup: You drive up all the time to meet with us, the least I can do is cruise down south a bit. :thumb:

I'm 99% certain we can make it, just trying to work out one thing and we'll know if/and what time we can make it. We don't mind driving at all. I assume you mean La Jolla and not La Mesa? We've been to neither place.

We are hoping to do this at Port as they have great beer, trucks coming and good parking. We're thinking about moving up the time to 5pm as that's when their happy hour starts. :yup:

I take it you're not driving the Jeep. :doh: :idontknow: Forget it, I'm not going then. Kidding, I'm still open to cruise south once this is confirmed up as far as time and location.

I thought about it, and would have if there was going to be a run, but we opted for a little more room and luxury for the drive down with 2 kids and a 110 pound dog!
 
I've had a few delicious brews since I last posted.. I've been on a big IPA kick again recently..

They're all delicious but the west coast IPA is by far my favorite.
