Suds of the Day

I've got a bottle of this on it's way to me in the mail, has anyone tried it? I've been super excited about getting my hands on a bottle.

My friend tried the bacon maple and said it was out of this world good. Enjoy it man!

Voodoo doughnut (the shop in Portland) rocks! The bacon maple bars are to die for. Not so sure that would translate to beer...how was it?

It's still on the way here, I've been trying to get my hands on a bottle for about a year now, can't wait to give it a taste! I'll report back with my findings!

BevMo here in So Cal keep it. I was picking out some beers and touched the bottle because it was so different. One of the employees there told me it was disgusting. I was buying beer as a gift so I left it there since I hadn't heard anything good or bad about it.

Had it a while back. Kinda odd. Very smoky ( hence the bacon) and sweet at the same time from the maple. Didn't like it personally, but have friends that loved it. I think it's one or the other. Cool bottle, though

Since it is the season, I am enjoying Sam Adams Winter Lager as we speak, really like the Alaskan Winter also.

Had another Ballast Point Pale Ale tonight, tomorrow I go in search of find Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale! Love that stuff and need to get my year supply! lol

Pumpkin head is one of my favorite beers for the season!

Try the Dogfish Head Punkin. BJ's Pumpkin Ale is great, but gone in most locations. If you're in Las Vegas try to grab a pint of Big Dogs Brewery Pumpkin.

I will look for those at Bevmo tomorrow.I love the pumpkin ale and didn't brew any of my own this year so I need to stock up on others. Or just make my own to have ready in February.

Nice, I'm a huge Pumpkin Ale fan myself. I wish I had the time and skills to homebrew some! They have a Pumpkin Ale festival in Seattle in Oct. All Pumpkin Ales from 30-40 different breweries.

Also, if you haven't had it and can find it, try the Rogue Pumpkin. I haven't had it, but some friends that know me have and have said I would absolutely love it.

Will do. So on the list is,

Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale
BJ's Pumpkin Ale (maybe I will just go to there restaurant lol)
Dogfish Head Punkin
Big Dogs Brewery Pumpkin

Sounds like a good day!

Life has been a bit hectic so I decided to take a break from the move and have some Ketel One.
