I'm slumming...

Had to go on a budget.

But I have discovered
that even modestly priced, canned swill
is more drinkable, pleasurable and tasty
when poured into a glass.

I also like the camouflaged cans.
That way, the bears can't find your beer.

When I was stationed in West Germany in 1970 (yes, it was divided then), I attended Oktoberfest in Munich. The sight and sound of thousands of Germans singing, swaying, thumping the tables with their beer steins in unison raised the hair on the back of my neck.
