Stupid Drivers

Our drive back to and from Carson City is done on a fast moving 2-lane highway with lots of twists and turns. Coming back late last night, there were a row of trucks coming in the opposite direction and as we got closer, a car from the back decided he wanted to pass. Of course, when he saw that I was there, he didn't bother pulling back but rather, TURNED ON HIS FUCKING BRIGHTS to let me know he was coming and to get out of the way. Like, REALLY???

Was he driving a Tesla or Challenger? Asking for a friend.
 
Once, when we had left Payson (just before dusk) and were approaching the Flowing Springs exit, an idiot decided to pass us on the narrow mountain road and directly in the path of an oncoming car. There seemed to be maybe 100ft of space between us and the oncoming car. Somehow he avoided collision given that we would likely have been involved in it.
 
So this last Thursday I had a guy sitting in traffic texting and oblivious that the traffic ahead was already moving so I tapped the horn. Regular horn not my traing horn. The guy starts going and decides to brake check me a couple times. Dash cam catches it all. Next he comes to a stop so I figured I'll just drive around him. Of course this just sets him off and takes off and hits my right rear tire which left him a nice souvenir on left front fender. No damage to me. Told him good thing I've got you on my dash cam being an ass because the cops are going to love this. He said I'm not calling the cops, apologized and drove off. Jeep 1 - Ford Focus 0.

Wow, i’d still call the cops just in case you got some hidden damage.

This, I'd call and report it in case they decide to file a hit and run... had this happen to my daughter when she was still a fairly new driver, and the other car did similar shit. No damage to her car but the other car was messed up.

She called me scared ofc, but I told her to take pictures of both vehicles and then turn her phone video cam on then hold it in her hand casual but facing the other driver... she recorded the driver admitting it was his fault while he argued with his grandmother as she was yelling at him to shut up and not admit anything.

Had my daughter do a 3-way call to the police to report it while she was still there, and they would have the exact location from the mile marker.

And as suspected, the boy's mother called my daughter (speaker phone) and begin threatening her claiming she was an insurance lawyer and would have her driver license taken away and all this other shit... That's when I got on the phone and ended the call with "if you are a lawyer, this entire conversation has been recorded, and I will be reporting you"

The next day we got a visit concerning a hit and run accident, played back the video and recording as well as the original report date and time.

Sorry about the rant, guess it still pisses me off lol

Some fucking people are just low lifes.
