"Spod"; to build or to buy?

Here is a picture of how it sits now. It will not stay clipped

check that the dash side part of the clip isn't pushed in or down or that the Daystar clips are on but have too short of a reach... it's pushing out because it's not getting over the high side (hump) of the clip..if all that makes sense

I think that makes sense. I'll check it out in the morning and let you know what I find

I see Iam not the only one with that prob,I used the stock orange clips first then used the metal clips, still pops out. Very annoying to say the least. Let us know if you figure it out.

Well after taking a closer look at the stock piece compared to the daystar panel, I decided to file down the top edge stopping after the corners to copy how the stock piece looks up top. First test fit seemed to work better, and after a little more fine tuning and cleaning up with a file and razor blade, it all fits and seems to be holding as well as the stock piece.

Does the sPOD fit/work with a hard top or only soft top.

nice! now put away the super glue, duct tape and silicone filler

I knew it was a little thicker than the stock piece to begin with but didn't think it would be a big deal. Now the switch panel sits level with the rest of the dash and should stay in place but time will tell. Thanks for the tips!
