Spark plugs and coil packs

The BAD Influence

Jeep is coming up on 100k miles. Manual says to change the spark plugs. Does it make sense to replace the coil packs while at it? If so, with OEM or maybe MSD?

Yes, it makes sense.

I'm not in the OEM only fan club. Mopar sends out specs for parts and the lowest bidder gets the contract.
When it comes to something like ignition coil packs I upgrade.
But that's just me and someone will be along to point out my idiocy.

It makes sense but I wouldn’t replace the coil packs. Coil packs are pretty robust and really expensive. I would only replace them if one is faulty, and only the faulty one.

In the end only replace the plugs IMO

I am getting ready to do the same maintenance and will go with Mopar parts. Agree with Cozdude on the packs however might consider replacing the once covered by the intake while it is open.
