I skipped voting in the Texas primaries, which is a first for me. I might vote in the primary runoffs. Since I did not vote in the primary already, it is my understanding that I could even vote in the Democrat primary runoffs.
All but one Republican candidate effectively advertised that they are 100% aligned with Trump, and will follow his lead/directions. And this is mostly for state offices. Most claimed to be Trump's candidate and selected personally by Trump.

I grew up in a church like these folks came from, so I don’t disrespect the heart of these people. But in my opinion, many of them were pulled too far towards nationalism. That’s not necessarily bad until they start putting Israel’s well-being on the same level as our own and hoping this all somehow brings on Armageddon and the rapture.That explains a lot
For the record, even as a kid in 1979, I wanted to jump inside the TV, strangle Jimmy Carter, rescue the hostages myself, then drop a nuke on Tehran.
