Best I can see from the videos, he never pulled the gun and wasn't open carrying, yet Bondi is saying he intended to inflict maximum carnage simply because he had an extra mag. Carrying a 1911 (IMO) is more an affectation these days – not exactly what I would call a high capacity weapon when a bread and butter M&P is 17+1.
I guess my point is both sides switch their argument when it fits their narrative.

He had a CC permit so he should have known not to bring a firearm into a high tension situation. And also should have known that while being arrested while carrying to keep your hands visible and notify arresting officers that you are armed. He did neither.
I’m really curious why dead dude was wailing on the woman that Agents had pushed away out of the street. Seems he also had some sort of beef with her.

I've seen 2 videos and both start with officers dog piling him. He obviously did something to initiate that kind of response. And DHS said he approached them with a handgun.

Regarding bringing a concealed weapon to a protest, it's illegal in many states, but not Minnesota. Not super smart, for sure, though.

Looked like he was just filming, but who knows what he did before that. Maybe he threatened them off camera. He was also resisting arrest – not something you want to do and have the agents discover your weapon during the process.
