At this point Vance needs to be 100% focused on carrying out Trump’s agenda and being his Pipe Hitter.
Too often vice presidents become focused on setting themselves up for a future run and will attempt to create space between themselves and their boss so they don’t own the president’s unpopular decisions. That’s wrong. A great vice president needs to be the president’s champion.
That’s what Pence did. Also Pence was an establishment Rino.
