Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

It is ironic that we're the only one that's ever used a nuke on civilians though.

War is in the will (of your people) and in your ability to produce logistics.

Old School war- Total War was about killing everyone. The sanitary war of only combatants fighting is pretty new.

Crush the will (Think US in Vietnam) of the people and remove the ability to produce war material and you win.

The cities in Japan were chosen for certain reasons- they had manufacturing and military significance and they had so far escaped any destruction. Koyoto was on the list but removed due to its historical and cultural significance. That was a good choice- thanks General MacArthur!

I’m glad the US dropped the bomb. Probably saved my dad’s life and a bunch of others that were going to be shipped from Europe to asia.

The US also wanted to send a message to the world about what we had.

Pretty informative article on the subject.

Hmm really? Our wars over the past 50 years say otherwise.

We as a Nation start too many wars- there is a number of reasons for that, but I don’t have the time to elaborate on it- let’s just say over Educated Idiots have theories that aren’t based in reality.

There are two players in US wars. The policy makers (elected & not) and the War Fighters. They have very different concerns, understandings, and realities.

It goes like this: The policy makers decide what they want and the War Fighters execute that vision to the extent possible. The policy makers work in theory and the War Fighters make it happen- (or at least try). Think Architect and carpenter. The failures almost always occur due to the naïveté and miscalculations of the policy makers.

Having been on the War Fighters side, but having witnessed the policy side- I can say the US has gone to great lengths to minimize civilian casualties- to the extent of lost American lives. The people we fought did not do that.

The US is far from perfect but much closer than anyone else.

When the Chinese run the world we will all come to know what whole scale murder, destruction, and societal genocide really looks like.

We, as a Nation, don't choose to be in any wars.

Industrial leaders, policy makers, and politicians hoping to profit from them, decide what conflicts we get involved in.

We, as a Nation, pay the price every, damned, time.

It’s going to be an interesting summer. 🤬

Use a VPN at a minimum if you go here.

I've got plans tomorrow so I was trying to see where these places were at to avoid the nut jobs. Turns out where I'm at, their timing won't affect me. However most organized info i found on Facebook pages. And there really aren't that many people. All the comments are literally 90% old women with no hair (feminazi look). The men that said they're going that had profile pictures are the most soy boy starbucks looking mofos I've ever seen. It was comical. These crazy leftos literally put themselves in a box labeled 'stereotype.'
