Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

Joined NATO and Putin just said "we're basically at war with NATO"
Well, I read just this morning that Biden has authorized Ukraine to launch the US provided missiles anywhere into Russia. This is intended to keep Trump busy so he won't have time to work on his agenda.

And regarding the 100,000 North Koreans, they are only in it for the free food, given that they are usually hungry.

LOL - too funny
I had heard rumblings that she paid for several endorsements, but none had traced the money.

I still think it's funny that they can't understand they got beat, again, with a woman running.
They made it about "feelings" and not what's best for the country.
They made it about "abortion" even though that topic was removed from the National level and out on the State level.
Under Carter, Clinton, Obama, and Biden the Dems controlled all three positions, they could have protected abortion with a law instead of court ruling, but never did. I understand why it didn't happen under Carter, I don't think he would have signed it due to his religious views.

Leader of the country is NOT something you go all DEI about.

What Americans should be doing from over 5,000 miles away.

Fully agree.

We need to stop trying to overthrow every foreign leader that we do not like. So far that shit has not worked out and has cost a lot of American lives and treasure.

AFG- Taliban back and stronger
Iraq- Now an Iranian proxy state
Libya- No longer a functional state
Syria- Insurgent haven, Assad still in
Yemen- Iranian proxy state

None of these places have ended up better after our intervention. Putin has said Ukraine joining NATO is a ‘Red Line’, maybe we should believe him? Oh yeah, and he has nukes.

Overall I agree, we shouldn't be in the regime changing business. The countries we fought with and maintained a presence have faired well, like Japan, Germany, and South Korea. The ones we fought with and abandon like Vietnam and Iraq have not. Probably an impossible feat in a Muslim country anyway. I'm not advocating for maintaining a military presence everywhere, just sharing observations.

I definitely get what you’re saying.

Germany and Japan were certainly warranted, not even a question of that. Keep in mind we literally forced both countries to change culturally and they largely benefited from our occupation and we are still paying them to be there and we still exert influence in each of those countries.

The places I listed fall into a completely different category. I understand the idea of denying islamic extremists a place to plan, train, and launch attacks from- but what about London, Paris, Karachi, and Dearborn….?

AFG should have been a Punitive Expedition. The initial part was awesome, killed a ton of bad guys but the Nation Building was an utter failure. I am saying this from personal firsthand experience.

Iraq was largely a mistake and the intel used to invade was faulty. If we wanted to kill Saddam that’s cool, but invading and trying to make Iraq a modern democracy was a huge mistake. I am saying that also from personal firsthand experience.

Remember the mobile Chem/Bio labs that led to the final decision to invade Iraq? The intel was fabricated by some Iraqi living in Europe who made his living getting paid for ‘intel’.

Story here:

I’m definitely not saying there isn’t a time to get involved militarily, I’m just saying that we need to make really, really sure it’s worth the lives of our fellow Americans and our treasure before we become committed.

I think the best deciding factor for whether we should get involved or not in these locations is for each of us to ask if the involvement is worth me personally going, and/or sending our kids or grandkids go.

This was essentially Trumps statement to chicken hawk Liz Cheney.

A good example: Little girls cannot attend school in AFG. Ok. So is that worth your life or your child’s life to change?

Agree on all points. Eager to see more competent leadership arrive in DC for Trump 2.0.
