Sleep paralysis!!!!

I believe in spirits and afterlife, but I separate these from god and religion which religion I don't believe in and god I would say its possible but I don't know. But yeh, hardest part with all of this is that it is very subjective

I guess I should step in here but that's not what this Website is all about.
Though if you want to talk about this PM me.

This website is about community no? This thread got onto such a topic and just like with Jeeps, I'm putting my perspective in. I'm telling anyone what to believe or imposing anything on anyone. Which is one reason I don't like religion - the imposition. The illusion of choice - hey you can believe whatever you want, but if you don't believe this you'll burn in hell. I'm not looking to pick a fight here, not sure if you read how the thread got to this point or if you read our new "supernatural" thread. But I suppose thanks for the offer of council?

That's it entirely, not intending to try to convince you of anything, just willing to talk only if you want to. Not really counseling per se, I'm not a Counselor.
I certainly don't want to fight either, just offering an answer for you, that's all. :thumb:

I don't "pastor"wug meant anything by his post. Just have to look at his screen name to get where he's coming from. ;) I for one think religion, politics and gun laws are extremely touchy topics in any arena, let alone online. We all have a choice to believe. I mean, even OverlanderJK is a Belieber. :cheesy:

Lol true, I also wasn't trying to come off with any malice. I suppose I'm just used to having to be on the defensive when its comes to my perspectives. I'm usually getting jumped on that's all.

Well if you really want to know lol. Its a long story compiled of a number of incidents but for the sake of condensing it: For a while I was experiencing things in my house. Seeing black, man shaped shadows and just the "not alone" feeling. Yeh you could say it was just my imagination but I believe otherwise. Especially since I had a shared experience with my ex and it scared the absolute shit out of her to the point where we had to stay outside my house for an hour before she calmed down. I've always been into the supernatural and all so none of this really bothered me, in fact I found it fascinating and I kept my cool especially knowing that if it was something "evil" it would want to get a rise out of me and I believed it was judging by how it was manifesting itself. Anyway, to the sleep paralysis incident - one night while falling asleep I got that feeling of someone hovering over me. At one point I even felt slight pressure on my legs and shoulder like someone laying their hand on me. I ignored it and went to sleep. Now, I never sleep on my back - always stomach or side and I was on my side when I fell asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night but it felt like I didn't fully wake up type thing. I was on my back, my hands were up on either side of my head and I couldn't move. I honestly felt like I was outside my body. I felt as if I was floating underneath it and I did make the conscious attempt to move even though it felt more like I was a spectator. I tried lifting my arms up but it felt like something was holding them down. Like I was able to get movement but very slight before I couldn't move them any higher. When I did this I also let out a breath like i was straining. It all seemed like me consciously doing it while at the same time I felt like I had no control of my body. It was one of the oddest experiences of my life. I knew i couldn't do much so I closed my eyes, or what felt like closing my eyes and went back to sleep and woke up the next morning still feeling very, very tired.

Reading this while pushing the buggy for my wife in Walmart. Man that have me the chills an made my leg hair stand on end......oh wait....just realized we are in the frozen food section!! Whew

Lol glad I could put some excitement into your Walmart experience

I used to have those every couple of years when I was really tired. I have seen strange things in my room and what not and not been able to move. I couldn't make sense of it until I learned from some military buddies that I sometimes sleep with my eyes open and found out about sleep paralysis. ( That explained the dry eyes in the morning and not being able to move.) Its amazing that most strange things can be explained. Some cannot, hence the other thread. Mine were totally explainable but still scary at the time. lol

My doctor told me that If I drink hot tea before I go to sleep I won't have this.

I know my English sucks lol

Any doctor you rely on should have MD behind their name. Just sayin'. :cheesy:

Hopefully that works for you. :thumb:

Most likely it really isn't a big deal and there are many physiological explanations for it. Hot tea consumption not being one that I am familiar with, but I am no rocket surgeon. ;)

Were you really up at 1am when you started this thread?
Was it right after that weird zombie dream?

Yea lol I woke up confused and scared, so I drink some good old vanilla coke cola and start surfing wayalife :D

I know my English sucks lol
