Bummer. I just got news of this run yesterday and figured it would be tough for a lot of you to make it. I'll definitely try to get some runs planned further in advance but, they'll have to be after KoH.

Have fun at KOH and I'll jump on the next run. Sounds like you all had a great time.😄

That was a great run! Im so happy I had the chance to run with you guys! I cant wait until the next trip!

The 'GAS STATION GUY'!! Hillarious way to come up with a user name. Welcome to the forum and it was great to meet you guys. We'll see you on the next run.

Sidewinder and 911A were great yesterday, especially with all the experienced help! Can't wait to do it again!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to thank you all for coming out to play on such short notice. We had a great time with all of you and look forward to doing it again soon

Getting some funky ass driveshaft noise on drive home.....

What kind of noise and are you sure it's from the drive shaft?

Man I've got to get a C.B., was dying for a beer. Nice to meet everyone today, bunch of great people. Special thanks to Eddie and Moochie for the spotting and answering my questions. See you next time.
Thanks Russ

Yeah, you definitely need to get in on the conversation :thumb:

This is Jeramy, the guy that came with gas station guy, just wanted to say thanks again so much for the invite. Had an amazing time and cant wait for the next trip

Glad to hear it and hope you do join us in the future :yup:

Great run today! I always love hanging out with you guys!

Almost forgot: after I aired up and got ready for the drive I cleaned up the oil off of the axel and wheel. When I got home there was no evidence of even a slow leak though the fluid level is still way too high in the front dif. 'The only reasonable question to ask at this point is WT*?!' I fixed the fluid level and will bring her in Tuesday to have the seal checked on the axel.

Good times regardless!!

It was good seeing you again. It was a bummer that you had to check out early and hope you get that leak figured out.

Yeah it was the boot on the the slip part if the rear shaft. The front 2-3 inches was torn partially off, slid to the diff and was flapping around. Tore some of it off. Sounded/felt normal after. Might cut the whole thing off. The boots on the actual joints seem solid still. Don't really want to buy a new shaft yet until I have to since I just bought the coil overs and Evo sliders. CB ordered.
Thanks

I ran mine for quite a while with no boot on the shaft. It will fail eventually, mine did. It lets dirt and rust get in there and it will keep the slip joint from moving freely.

Thanks Eddie, I'll keep that in mind. Hopefully I'll make it a couple months and go straight to a JE Reel.

Never thought I'd say this but thanks Gas Station guy and Jeremy for reaming my pipe. :clap2:

It was a lot of fun and for some reason my jeep runs tracks better on the highway after the run. I can cruise 75 mph with one hand on the wheel. Maybe my mind is playing tricks? Weird.

When I got home I realized I hadn't even attached my cb to the coaxial cable. I thought I heard everyone but might have missed out on longer range com. Oops. Definitely didn't hear anything about drinks on the way home.

Looking forward to future runs...
