Yeah I'd always end up freezing my ass off not being prepared on fires up there and the Idaho panhandle this time of year. Its just fucked trying to crawl out of your tent at 6am when its 25° and frost on the ground in late August...haha. I don't see those types of Temps overnight until Nov or so.

This fall was the most colorful fall we’ve had in years because of how dry it was, but the snow is definitely necessary for the moisture!
