Show off your tents

Yeah the ones with AC lol that tent was the Only nice thing we had there and some carpet pilot ventilated it with an 82

I LOOOVE my Nemo Asashi (4 person). Got it for an amazing deal from REI. I've never had a tent so easy to put up and one so easy to take down and save. Plus you can use the top cover as just a shade.

In digging that one.

My wife and I use a Coleman 8 person instant tent. I have been very happy with it. It has been through insane downpours and very strong winds and we never had any leaks. Quality probably isn't as good as many of the tents you guys use, but I never felt that it lacked anything for my needs. The 8 person tent is about as big as a JKU and I can fully stand up and walk around in it. It also has a lot of windows and great ventilation. I also LOVE the fact that I don't need to mess with those fiberglass poles anymore. This one opens like an umbrella, clicks into place and presto. I can put it together now in about 3 minutes from bagged to fully opened.

Heres my tent. Its a turbo tent (4 person) a little big for me by myself and a dog but I dont mind because most of the time Im inviting someone with me on camping trips. Thanks to Cindy for taking this awesome shot on the last trip by the way! :thumb:

That's a great picture! :thumb:

I am a big fan of Sierra Designs tents. They are real light and pack up nice and small and 1 person can set it up in less than 5 min. Will try and find some pics tomorrow.

REI Base Camp 6, highly recommended. Typically my wife and I along with our youngest. Easy fit with two full-sized and one small cot. We fit fine with all 3 kids so long as we're all on smaller cots.

We just got one of these not too long ago. Haven't used it yet as timing hasn't worked out with some of the WAL trips.

Haven't done the camping thing in some time and my kids are almost 9. Hopefully this summer!

I bought an el cheapo instant tent from Academy a few years back, with the intention of using it on just a couple trips. About 4 years later it is still as reliable as day 1. It's considered a 4 person but its perfect for 2. The only downside is that is packs in to a 3 foot diameter disk shape that's about 2 inches thick. It's kinda awkward packing it but I'm gonna use it until it falls apart, which is looking like it might be a while haha.

I'll have to get a pic of my mountain hardware tent. Three person, two vestibules, two doors, 4 season.

I've had it for about 16 years and it still works perfectly.

I have a Sierra designs gama, it's only a two person but packs nice and small, I use it for backpacking as well, it has with stood some nasty rain with our a problem. I have also been considering the msr mutha hubba.

If you don't push the limits how do you find them??

Yea they are real nice in the rain. I backpacked through costa rica about 8 years ago and took some pretty terential rains in the high rain forest while hiking up to one of the volcanoes.

I don't do much backpacking anymore so I may upgrade to one of the bigger models myself.

That's my Marmot Halo 4. I've been canoe camping and car camping for years, using many different tents. I love this tent. Has two vestibule and lots of ventilation, my dog (70 lb Golden) has slept comfortable in vestibule. This tent has stayed put and kept me dry in sever torrential rains with 25-30 mph winds.
