I know its not a Jeep and its a silly FJ but hey were all out to have fun. It was a great day with great people on a great trail with some great colors. Photo Credit to my friend Mikey (Owner of the FJ).
From a fun ride on one of our local seasonal "roads" Friday. Learned lots. Including what the wrong way through this corner was. Hint, it is on the right side not the left! So I learned how to recover a stuck JK Beautiful fall colors in the woods.
Went to Flagstaff to catch the last of the fall colors... but a lot of them in the lower meadows had already dropped to the ground! Still found some on our run around the peaks through Hart's Prairie area. Still a good day to be out and hit the dirt and see the beauty.

Down here in Deep East Texas, we have not had the cold snap needed to make the colors pop.
So we have to snatch scraps of color where we can find them, like the edge of this beaver pond.
Here is a close up of the beaver dam.
Spunky got cold on my trip, so I buttoned her up in my field jacket.
A sure sign of fall.
