I mow most of the leaves, however it gets to a point I gotta get the backpack leaf blower out and push some into the woods or into piles to burn. This time of the year the whole area smells of burning leaves- and I like it!

I have mowed-in the leaves for a great many years, without harm to the grass. I also pile leaves and twigs next to the back fence, and after 20+ years the pile has not gotten any larger. Originally I raked leaves and even bought a "lawn vacuum" which was supposed to somehow help.
I have learned that the best course of action is to do as little as possible. Laugh at the idiots who put leaves in bags for pick-up every year.
