Does anyone else enjoy being the asshole in the neighborhood that keeps their yard clean forcing your neighbors to try and keep up? Just me? I’m the only one starting leaf wars?

Haha thays funny. Kind of like when I lived at my old house. The entire front yard was dirt. Come spring it'd be full of weeds. I'd go hula-hoe them all out and leave a nice straight line along the property line between my house and my neighbor's.Does anyone else enjoy being the asshole in the neighborhood that keeps their yard clean forcing your neighbors to try and keep up? Mow with a bagger, backyard gets mostly just mulched, it’s not that visible form anywhere so if it’s remotely green I’m happy. Front yard gets more manicured.

The first year we were in our house I tried to use the leaf blower to corral all the leaves in the RV port next to the garage…. My neighbor came out and told me he would complain to the city if he saw me blowing them out into the street… so instead I just blew them all into his yard. Now it’s a yearly thing I just do now. My yard looks great and he can’t figure out why he has so many leaves.

We managed to sneak Down to Tennessee for our anniversary this weekend and caught it at peak color. We took the “mom” Jeep as named by my son but an incredible time at Blackberry mountain.
The rustic cabin we stayed in was at the top of mountain just under a old fire watch tower that they turned into a amazing restaurant.
We did a ton of hiking over two days and even found an old troll on the trail
Today we hike the Alum Cave trail in Smoky amounts national park. Awesome trail if you can get out to run it.
