Yeah It's going to be around July before I can do anything if I do. So I have time to think. Like I don't have enough time on my hands now to think [emoji848]Even though the JT's are great, I'd miss the enclosed cargo area too much.
Yeah. But it's not just that, unless you can drive it every day I would stay away from a diesel unless it's in a 1 ton pickup. Plus you will have plenty of problems with the DEF, DPF and the EGR systems.

Yep. All of that shit has been on trucks since 08. And it's the main reason for 75% of the trucks you see broke down on the side of the road. It costs around $1200 to get the DPF filter cleaned out and a new one costs between $4000 and $5000First hand experience?

I dropped 3k into the emissions system on my truck last week. Cleaning filters and replacing a sensor.

It's the emission systems that are on diesel engines. It doesn't matter what engine the emissions systems are the problem. And that's what most of them go to the shop forYou have first hand experience with 75% of the trucks on the road?
That’s a bummer. What kind of truck?

YepMost of them actually use the exact same system just different parameters.

So if you take your 10,000 miles at 15 mpg, that’s 666 gallons. If premium is 50 cents more that’s only $333 extra for all those miles...

Is diesel significantly more expensive where you guys are at?

I don't drive it much. I have it almost 2 years and it doesn't have 10,000 miles on it yet

This is at a truck stop here in Oklahoma right now. Premium gas is usually about $.25 higher than regular
Yeah. I have plenty of time to decide on what I'm going to do. It won't be until around July or August before I trade if I doAnother thing to think about....that 2.0 turbo is tits fun to drive. You willing to give that up? Everytime I drive the JL, I become Mario Andretti in my own twisted reality.
