My exhaust dumps out before the axle on my JK and that hanger is still on there if you end up needing one from a JK. But I bet that will hold fine.

An exhaust shop I used to work at had these hanger removal pliers. OMG, talk about a major time saver. The fork holds the rubber, and the pointed part bushes the bar through.

That's amazing.

For my part I ended up going up to Lowe's and buying a cheap angle grinder and cutting the old muffler hanger off. The one on the passenger side is really hard to get any leverage on.

The ones we had had a thicker fork and we always sprayed the rubber with WD40. This was like 20 years ago though, I doubt the tool is even made anymore. Was similar to this one: https://www.grainger.com/product/2T...4197!&ef_id=WrDzRwAABe0HqZp9:20180524150851:s

I'd build one before spending 100 bucks for something like that though.
