In addition to all the historical locations in Philly there is a huge amount of places to eat and drink. To combine those two things we did a History Pub Crawl. A local guide took us to numerous notable locations where we enjoyed delicious beverages while they entertained us with historical facts and probably some dubious information. 😂

One of the locations was named Kyber Pass Pub. The story was a young local lady married a man and ended up moving with him to Pakistan (how could that go wrong 🤨). Of course it did not work out for her so she escaped out of Pakistan into Afghanistan via the Kyber Pass. When she got back to Philly she opened the Pub. There was some really cool decorations in here.

Another cool place was Monk’s Cafe. They had a fantastic beer selection specializing in Trappist Ales. They also had some pretty tasty food.

Monk’s servse a lot of the Russian River brews too, unfortunately they did not have Pliny the Elder today so I had to settle for Blind Pig. The bartender told me they had a keg of Pliny the Younger coming in, possibly tomorrow!! Maybe we’ll stay another day? 🤔
