Sceep built

I wanted to do something custom for emblems. Since "Sceep" was coined, I decided to make a Sceep logo in the font of the original Scout logo, and place it more where Jeeps have theirs. 3D printed them, primered and painted. I also needed a new hood emblem. These are extremely difficult to find so I also printed one of these. Used colored epoxy for the red and black.

Got it back from Line-X. Had to paint the door jams, underside of the hood, window frames, inside of the door panels, etc. then reassembled. This is where it's at today. Still more to do. I need to buy new weatherstripping, carpet the cabin and build a center console to integrate the Jeep shifters. But for now, I get to drive it. I can't wait to wheel with some of my Jeep brothers! :D

Love it - this so badass! :clap2: I love these old Scouts. I can't remember the last time I saw one of these running around here in Pa.

Curious: How much lift do you have your coilovers set at?

This is probably one of the coolest things I've ever seen! Absolutely love the color! You did an amazing job! Keep it up!!

Bottom of the chassis seems to be four or five inches higher off the ground than my buddie's JK. Not sure if that's a good thing or not, but it's where it ended up!

Reason I asked that is that looking at this photo looks like your drag ling & track bar in the front may benefit with a flip kit and raised mount for the track bar? I hesitated at first because you're well past my mechanical
abilities but figured maybe it best to point out. Plus its kinda hard to tell based on the angle that pic was taken. And I can't see your track bar mount. It does look like your rear mount is raised. Still if you have over 3" of lift
you'd benefit from it. The more horizontal those components are the better. Do you experience any bump steer now?

Yeah, definitely have sideways movement over bumps while on the road. I'm sure that's what it is. Thanks for the heads up. I'm super familiar with cars but not so much with offroading. A newbie here. :) I will take a look at some solutions.

That is an awesome build and a great write up on your process. Thanks for sharing!

Ridiculous amount of talent going on in this thread! Kudos!!

Thanks! Mostly it's just a lot of time and a lot of mistakes and learning. There is definitely a lot that could have been done better but I'm still happy. It's fun to drive and it gets loads of attention.
