San Diego trails

Quick stop on the way to El Centro

I was on my way down to El Centro and decided to stop off at the Valley of the Moon for a two hour trail run. It was totally worth the detour.:thumb:

Can any of the San Diego guys point out some good local trails. I'm still in stock JKUR (for now at least). Thanks

I will be heading to Tierra del sol in truckhaven on march 2nd. It's about an 2 hr drive from Ramona, it's in octitillo wells state park. This is a link if you want to find out what the event is all about. I will be going with a friend of mine that also lives in the country estates. The park is family and pet friendly if you want to take the family. You welcome to come along.

Ouch!! That is steep terrain. I have been there for numerous fires through out my career. That is one place I would want to avoid during the summer

Ill be there as well look for the red one it will be the only one there. Lol it will be like playing where's Waldo. Haha ill probably sport a wip with a beer mug. And I myself will be cruising in a wheelchair easy to find me if look down lol

Pancake Rock aka Lawsons Peak is a great run. WOL has a lot of great shots from a few weeks back in Moby. I found it pretty challenging in a Stock JKRU in 2 spots, but the rest of the ride is great! Last time I went up it looked like someone had removed one of the rocks that made one of the areas pretty difficult, but its still a great run. A friend tried it in a YJ with 33's and made it up, but should have disconnected the sway bars. Made it alot more "interesting" than it needed to be.

There are also a TON of trails just off the S-2 going NW out of Ocotillo.

Still looking to hit up Corral Canyon tho, looks awesome from the pics Ive seen.

This area is right on the border. Usually you will see the Border Patrol close by. Don't pick up any hitch hikers.

:cheesy::clap2:

Coral canyon, there you will find 911 A-C also gunslinger . These are great and challenging trails for stockys! I run them for years. YouTube them!
