That's me! I was so happy to actually hook one. It lived to swim another day after the picture.
Thank god for Taco Tuesday. We'd have starved on my catch.

Taco Tuesday was cool, but we failed at foraging for oregano. And that damn bear ate the cookies.

Bears can’t eat chocolate, right? Or is that dogs? Trying to plan for Rubicon 2019.

Just put a slab of salmon on your buddy's tent. You shouldn't have to worry about bears messing with you at all.

That would be about right for a golden trout. Looks like a really small rainbow. Glad to hear he got to swim another day..
Got our camping spot at Rubicon Springs reserved for Tuesday -- same spot as last year! :clap2:

Thanks for snagging that for us. Do you remember the name of the site? Something pines?

The bears seemed to pretty fond of this location as well.
Anyone interested in a rubicon trip August 5th through seventh next year?
It’s the Monday through Wednesday before Sierra Trek so those interested in tacking Fordyce or other Sierra trek trails can roll right into them.
Starting at wentworth springs Monday
Camp Monday night at buck island
Short day Tuesday and camp at rubicon springs
Head out Wednesday.
