Rottenbellys # 2...

Got the axles under the jeep and lockers wired up. With the 5.13 gears and 35s it runs about 2900rpm at 70 mph on the interstate,(manual trans). Did a 400+mile roadtrip and the jeep ran great on the hills. Should be perfect when I go to 37s.
Also put on the Metalcloak lower control arms and took it out for a crawl.
Found out I need about 1 more inch of bumpstop on the front. Rubs on the metal fender brace up front.
And also finally scratched my new wheels.
Blew out the stock ball joints so i have some Dynatrac prosteers coming to put in when I get home.

Stock gas tank skid dents way to easy. Need to maybe upgrade that eventually. The Evo skids are doing great.

Some poser shots at the local crawl spot.

That first scratch is always the hardest, but now that it's out of the way I look forward to adding to the collection.

Lockers and light switches on the pillar. Going to have to figure out what to do with them when I do the rock hard cage.

Nice upgrades! You can aint the inside of that spiders back red. I have seen that on a few of those diff covers and it always looks cool!

Well my stock ball joints where shot. Had a bad wobble between 42-47 mph.
Replaced them with Dynatrac prosteers, while I had the wheels off I had them road force balanced.
Had one wheel that took a crapload of weight to balance. The good news is the wobble is gone and jeep drives great again.

Bad news is I think I nicked my inner axle seal an have a small axle leak now. So I get to tear into that and see if I can fix it now.

Finally got a few hours and my son and I installed the Metalcloak 3.5 Game changer kit with Fox adjustable resi shocks. Only took 6 hours in the garage. Got ahold of Discount tires for some new wheels and tires.
The Adam's driveshaft give me room to flex without hanging up on the crossmember like the stocker.
LOD bumper should be here today and getting everything setup for the WTO hydro assist next week.
