Roof Rack + Snorkel = Overland?

Forget the snorkel, what happens when he hits a rock or small iceberg? He is practically rubbing the fenders stationary. Oh, whats with the cooler, is it there to keep his food warm?

I was wondering the same thing! Why would one allow themselves one inch of suspension up travel?? Hmm...

With 50" tires and 8 psi you get most of your travel from the tires

Just because someone was wondering...I just read this thread in its entirety. From start to finish. It took me just about 4 hours with videos and such. I laughed. I cried. But I feel like I have to go hug it out now.
I realize this will again bump it but I couldn't resist. I think I need to step outside and take a walk overland to get some vitamin D.
PS- Thank you to my employer for allowing me this free time to research such a hot topic and become smarter in such things. :cheesy:

Well i'm no expert but I'm building mine for Overland/Expedition and most of the stuff is the same but we build to stay out longer and run more trails than rock courses and stop and smell the roses a little more. Kinda like the boy scouts of jeeping!

All hail the kind of Overlanding! Gregor, step aside.

Finally, I have been de-throned from the ever burdensome position of king of the overlanders! Now I cover retire and move back to my humble crib.....back in the shire......located in middle earth.......next to Bilbo B.

:cheesy: Just like I said, roof rack + snorkel = overland/expedition!!
BTW, I've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express :yup:

Funny, that's what I do with my Jeep, stay out longer, run all kinds of trails INCLUDING rock courses and of course, stop and smell the roses all the time!! Kinda like the boy scouts of Jeepin only, actually prepared to take on just about anything. :yup:

So what your saying is, Moby has been gone for the better part of a year to get outfitted with a Snorkel AND a roof rack? Mind = Blown!

Rack, snorkel, hi-lift, brush risers, overland sticker. Looks all set. 👍 I'm guessing you've got rotopax hiding somewhere.
