Achilles tendinitis that doesn't need surgery but it started getting really bad that I finally went to the Dr and he put me in a boot for 6 weeks. So glad it didn't tear while playing softball last season. When I am not sleeping or driving to work, the boot must be on. :( PITA!

What a bummer. So sorry to hear that but totally understood. Being that we can't even do this in an official capacity, it won't be like you're missing much anyway. We will miss seeing the two of you just the same though. :grayno:
 
Mud Slut

Mud Slut and One Bite are back from South Carolina and will be partying with y'all. We're ready to wheel if that happens.
 
Doesn't look like we are going to be making the trek from Mexico that week after all. Will be back week of Thanksgiving. However, the Firkin is Firkin ready for you all...if you so decide to partake in some tasty libations!

For those of you still on the list and were still planning to come up if only to hang out, we will be staying at the Max Casino in Carson City and we are still planning on doing a suds-n-grub over at the Firkin on Saturday. While we may do something on Saturday during the day, we are leaving it open for now and will decide on what we'll be doing that morning. For those of you who've had to drop out, I'm sorry to hear it but totally understand. With any luck, we'll be able to make this into something a bit more official next year.

2 wks down 4 more to go in this boot on my leg. :( Have fun and safe travels. I'm really guessing I'll be out of this boot by the time the official run is out next year.
