Roktoberfest 2016 - Suspended

Ladies and gentlemen - boys and girls, it's that time of year again and Cindy and I are happy to announce that the one and only ROKTOBERFEST will be taking place in Carson City, Nevada on the weekend of Saturday, October 22nd! As always, this will be a FREE, fun filled event that includes partying with good friends well into the night. We are still hammering out the details and more information will be posted up as soon as they become available but if you'd like to join us, please let us know by posting up on this thread.

Lodging Information
Jim (H20JNKY here on WAYALIFE) was able to hook us up with great room deals over at Wyndam Max Casino! They have/had 34 rooms left when this was posted and the normal rate for this weekend is $139. Call them up and say “Rocktoberfest” and you'll get a rate of $89 a night! Call now 1 775-883-0900. Make sure to mention "Rocktoberfest" :yup:

UPDATE 09/14/16
Hey everyone, I need to let you know that Roktoberfest 2016 has been suspended until further notice or at least, the wheeling part of it. I really do apologize for the trouble especially for those of you who have requested time off to make this event. While we have the full support of the city and can still have a parade, Jeep show and party at the Firkin, obtaining permits to get everyone out on the trail and in an official capacity will be impossible at this time. If you've booked a room and no longer want to attend, now is the time to cancel it.

A BIG THANKS needs to go out to our very own Jim Phalan (H20JNKY here on the forum) for helping to contact all the right people and get this event organized. I'd also like to thank the Sierra Stompers, a great local club and Carson City Jeep for their willingness to help out. I know there's a growing list of people getting involved and I'll have to thank them as well as soon as I find out who they are.

We'll try to plan this a lot sooner for next year so that people like you who are out of the state can have more time to plan for it. :yup:

That is one badass Roktoberfest logo. One can only hope that they will be available in the Wayalife store after the event :)
 
So bummed we can't make this years event. This is going to be so much fun! Looking forward to all the great stories and pics!
 
Really hoping I can make it! Gonna reserve a room tomorrow for if I can make it work
