Talked to my local ace. A cut and program was something like $180. I still have to bring the blank. Trying to find out what the local dealership charges to cut and program. I know they charge $100 to program.

there's this option, I tried to use it on my 2010 but didn't realize it marries to the 1st Jeep. it worked fine on the 1st Jeep, a 2015.

I actually looked at that. Had considered it pretty seriously.

You can do it with the JSCAN app. I picked up a key on Amazon for less than $20 and used my JSCAN to program the key.

I haven't heard of that. I assume it takes a unit that plugs into the OBD2.
