Replace Cabin Air Actuator Behind Glove Box

The actuator causes the door to slap the top of the cabin air filter housing when I start the car and stops after a few seconds. Does anyone know how to access this actuator on the side of the housing without removing the the dash and air bag?

Welcome to Wayalife... Is it a car or a Jeep? 🤔

You actually just remove the glove box if I'm not mistaken. Check YouTube. Somebody has had to of done it there.

It is a 2014 Wrangler JKU
There is a blend door actuator and a recirculate door actuator. Unfortunately, it sounds like you need a recirculate actuator which is much harder to replace than the blend. I have heard you can do it without removing the dash but you will have to remove the seats to get under the dash or rig up some way to hang out the side of jeep. Also, it's an absolute nightmare. I tried a few years ago and gave up after a few failed attempts. I just unplugged it so it doesn't click anymore and the only difference I notice is the defrost sucks now because its stuck in recirculating.
