and a red trail (crawl daddy) for mcpuck if he is feeling the need for something harder lol.

I don't really know this color coded system but I have nothing to prove. I will wheel most anything that doesn't include flopping or rolling the rig!

green is like level 1-3, blue 4-6, black6-8 red 9-10, purple is dont even think about it? that is my guess on a trail rating system

Damn I am really looking forward to this! Booked a hotel for Friday and Saturday nights.
Trail ratings are so subjective depending on your rig and experience.

i am pumped for this as well!
very true it is very subjective. picking your lines are the most important thing

I have reservations at Hampton Inn Pine Grove for Friday 13th and Saturday 14th. :yup: Anyone else staying at the local hotels? Comfort Inn was sold out and the Econo Lodge is a dump from what I hear.

Sadly I am not. Rausch is close enough that I make the drive that morning.

ok everyone here is the trail map and my idea of a very fun/tough trail ride. mainly blues for the day with a decent amount of blacks and a red trail (crawl daddy) for mcpuck if he is feeling the need for something harder lol. let me know what you think and its obviously changable.

so for those of you who couldnt see the map well i will write out my "idea" for the ride. obviously feel free to chime in as to what trails you would like to take.

so go out the backside of the parking lot down to "shortcut to A" and right onto L3 blue, up to 6, on to L3 green, hill climb, A, B to C, C to Walk in the Park (black) which runs into CV. then right up to Yellow Jacket and 4. 4 takes us right into C, to B then on to 2. 2 goes all the way up over D and brings us to Crawler Ridge (for if anyone wants to try it. On to D and E all the way up to J. (see west property photo now). J onto J1 all the way down to 17 (black). right onto 11 all the way to 19-A. 19-A to 11 then 11 to H then immediately onto 18-A.18-A become 18-B at some point then into 10-B. then Stout i think its called and back onto H. H to 11 onto 20 (black) then back onto 15. 15 brings us to crawl daddy(red) for if anyone wants to try it. J to 12C back onto J then up H back towards powerline and back to the lot at the end of the day.

obviously time will dictate this day but i think its a decent plan and we cover TONS of trails. if we are all at the lot and ready to go by 8:30 i think that starting early will help us cover as much ground as possible.

Bravo young chapy. I can only imagine what the black is at the end of j1. I thought the blue drop at the end was steep. Sounds like fun route

I hope all the rigs going are capable for these kinds of trails...If not it will make for a loooong day!

the nice thing about that trail is that the blue and black meet back up on 11 right there so if it looks to hard/scary for some they can continue on the blue and wait for those on the black.

well thats the best part about as to why we separated this into two different weekends based on skill. this way we know you should only be coming to this if you can do ALL the blues and some of the blacks. rigs like Hinrichs, mcpuck, and yourself should be able to do all the blacks no problem. some rigs like mine will need some help with being spotted thru certain things. i think this is why this trip will be fun because we will all be there to help and support each other thru all different types of obsticals.

I'm all about the teamwork! I was asking because a stock sport JK on a black will be battered and bruised by the end of the day.

Can't wait!

Or...

:dont_know:

I can attest to that for sure after wheeling with a completly stock one owner tj through a blue trail on the west side...took some time but he made it through everything untill his rad blew a hole in itself

I'll be the least capable jeep there so far but don't worry I watched a little film called. Keep It Tight ;)

Just looked at the map and saw a little note under south property. I think purple is blue/black.
