Not that skinning a squirrel is hard but I just picked up one of these. Can't wait to use it.

Well I'll be, learn something new everyday, I been doin it the way my daddy taught me for the last +-58 years or so, little cut around the neck, grab em by the head in the left hand, stick your thumb in the little nick, and pull, quick cut on the front feet, pull some more, quick cut on the rear feat, pull some more, and you are done skinnin and ready to clean out the innards, and ready for the next one. Did'nt have any of these new fangled gadgets. But then again, I'm old. I am still using the same 22 rifle I used then too. My daddy would have skint me if I had ever killed one with a 410, don't like those pellets in the meat.

I've always used the tail method with a cut and step on it but this little gadget looked too cool.

Now two are in the backyard. All of these does were born in the woods directly behind the yard and because we have been dog-less for a couple years they feel very brave.
It’s protein in the bank.

Baiting I see…
That’s actually an attempt to keep the squirrels off the bird feeder. Now I need to figure out how to keep the deer off the squirrel food to keep the squirrels off the bird feeder. 😂😂

My parents have the slinky thing on theirs. Says it works great to keep the squirrels off well. There's also those little lead things.

We had a baffle that worked perfectly but the bear kept pulling the feeder over and broke the pole. Now I’m using a hanging feeder and that is no match for the bushy tailed ones. It’s animal chaos around here. Raccoons, possums, deer, bears, squirrels, skunks……
