Snappers are born pissed off. Best way to pick up those guys is by sticking your hands into the back leg holes under the shell. they can reach halfway back on their shell with their necks fully extended.

I let it be. It was a good ways from the pond, not sure if male or female but it can stay for now. If it starts becoming a problem I will eradicate.

The little guy had a successful surgery to remove an avocado sized tumor…he has a pump inserted to remove excessive fluid which we drain very 8 hours…

Back in the day, my dad would just tell me to bury him by the oak tree with the other dogs…

He's surprisingly pretty chipper...pump gets removed in six days, sutures a week later...
