Weekend trip to Chincoteague Island on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Legend has it that the wild ponies that live on the island are descended from horses involved in a Spanish galleon shipwreck. i read all the horse books as a kid and Misty of Chincoteague was a favorite. The weather wasn’t ideal with rain and fog But it kept the temps down. Very cool. I still remember going to Kitty Hawk as a kid and seeing some of the wild horses out there.

You are correct. I’ve never had a better dog. She is amazing. They listen to you so intently when you talk to them, and lay with you when you’re upset. They just know you better than you know yourself.

Inquiring minds want to know. My little Scottie has surprised a couple of cats and almost caught them; a low center of gravity can turn on a dime.

No, but she could if she wanted to and it wouldn’t take much to silence their screams. Lol. She just runs and talks to them. She also understands what can happen from those kitty paws.

Lol I have literally tried to get my dog to get slapped in the face by a cat on our walks so she would chill but the cats have missed.
