I saw a honey bee swarm, for the first time in my life. It was in the pasture, near my Dad’s place. I heard them and upon investigation, I saw them group together on a pine branch. Eventually, they went to this box my uncle uses to capture them. He will move them to hives he has built.

That box is a good idea, my dad had bees when I was growing up and saw a couple swarms. A guy would come over with a trash can if I remember and shake the branch. They would fall off in a big clump into the can

Awesome! We have a few swarm catchers at our place as well. It’s really cool when they all show up. They’re incredibly tame while swarming too since there’s no home to defend. You can stick your bare hand in the middle of it.
