I'm glad to hear that he was good in concert. I bought tickets to his show at the Houston rodeo for March 17th. Our anniversary is the 31st and the wife had really been wanting to see him in concert. I figured the opportunity to catch him in the future may not happen so better go now. Neither of us have seen him in concert before and it's a good chance to surprise the wife for an important day.

Worth the $500 ?? We'll see.

He did retire. He did the cowboy rides away tour for two years now he plays in Vegas twice a year.

It’ll be worth it. I thought about going to Atlanta to see him in March with a Chris Stapleton but can’t swing it.

This was supposedly taken in Bruce, MS, in 1940.

I have seen a photograph of a log large as the second truck is carrying, that was taken in Meadville, MS. I know that photo is legitimate. That photo was taken in front of what was once the Ford dealership. Apparently some of the virgin timber here was massive. It is also, all gone..

It’s sad that it’s all gone, very cool history though! It’s a wonder what kind of tree that is?

George Straight and Chris Stapleton! Dam, that is going to be a good show. Haven't seen Stapleton yet either but want to. He will be at the Houston rodeo also this year.
