What he said. If it were terrorists or Iran would they fly drones around with flashing lights. Sounds like our own government's shenanigans or some college kids who built a big ass drone and they're flying it around. Maybe it's the cops looking for unusual heat signatures coming from grow houses.

No terrorists would have all the lights, aliens would not use such basic technology, and Iran does not have these capabilities, or we would be seeing them used in Ukraine by Putin, and it is not just one drone. Too many questions, and no answers.

or, testing US systems response and it seems they've gotten the answers.

Why hasn't a single agency responded or if they have, said something? another balloon fiasco... let's wait and see what it does, until there is public outcry to question it.

IMO, flying them around with lights is perfect coverage and something someone on the ground might think it's local, Amazon, or not really question it as a threat, blend in with the environment. What if it was a police patrol drone? but I would think they would announce it.

I recall around here when a small drone interfering with the municipal airport was reported, they took swift action to identify and arrest the dumbass that was flying it.

Lights make them super easy targets. If they did not have lights, would they have been reported at all? People calling the police would have gotten a response to remain calm, so do not panic, it is just the cicadas Swarm.
 
These things have not been just over NJ - they're all over the place. And it's not just a couple - it's multiple, like 50 a night.

Remember that our government was frightened by balloons from China, and only shot one down once it cleared the eastern coast.

Being afraid to shoot down UFOs fits with that.
