Yes, a lack of faith in our political process hurts us
America’s enemies gain anytime we have national disunity and discord as it weakens us. Our enemies are happy when there is internal chaos, events such as the border disaster, the BLM and Antifa riots, and ‘Intelligence Officials’ making false statements to sway public opinion favoring one political party over another. The ‘Trump Russia’ lie pushed by the Hillary campaign is another perfect example, it’s especially ironic considering the close relationship the Hillary led State Department had with Russia during the Obama/Biden administration. Don’t forget Bill Clinton got paid 500k to give a speech in Russia.
As far as influencing our Gov that is accomplished through political donations, ‘charity’ donations, and straight up bribes far more than any other method. Ask the Clintons and Bidens about that. Both administrations received huge amounts of money from offshore sources.
