all social media companies had portals for the government agencies that were basically the "red phone" direct line that anything submitted would get priority attention; there were teams dedicated to those portals that had carte blanc to suppress accounts and shut them down with their "violation of community rules" bullshit within minutes of notification.
Zuckerberg confirmed Facebook used a portal called the Content Request System, all others had similar portals.

Would not surprise me if the DOJ was responsible for updating the community guidelines of these social media companies that allowed them to easily suppress anyone the government deemed as "misinformation"

Government fucked the 1st Amendment by using private companies to do their dirty work and then the Supreme Court came out and ruled that fucking the 1st Amendment by using social media companies is okay....
