This is so damn funny if only because I couldn't agree more. I'm kind of surprised that podcasts are still even a thing. Certainly, they're loosing more market share everyday than AM/FM radio. When you quit doing podcasts in the middle of a podcast.

That's just thing. There are only a handful of shows that are worth a listen and the rest are just blah blah blah, me too repeats of all the same BS and guys who are just in love with their own voices. And really, this isn't just my opinion. With the exceptions of the Joe Rogan's out there, the podcast industry is in a major decline and I don't see a recovery.I've become way more discriminating with what I listen to podcast-wise. There are so many me-toos out there and they are all interviewing the same damn people. It's just like when the "insiders" all went on the Sunday morning news program tours.
I prefer the long form conversations on some of the podcasts as long as the conversation is interesting & something I want to learn more of, but some of these folks just talk & yuk it up to hear themselves. Lex Friedman has some good ones. Rogan is good when it's not the comedians or UFC stuff.
Yes - Literally every day I get atleast 2 emails about some DEI related stuff. If you can be a DEI hire - they will fast track you in. Merit and credentials do not mean jack anymore - they want to fill the varied identity checkboxes. I guess you can always self-identify as (insert x minority group here) lol. There is such a thing as "trans-racial" nowadays ya know. The ugly truth is that the HR departments and the recruitment offices of many government agencies are heavily populated with or even controlled by these rainbow types- so guess what they push and guess who they hire? In most FedGov agencies being active in DEI will fast track your promotions, consequently guess who ends up in leadership positions and guess what agenda they champion? Employees who aren’t rainbow types are heavily ‘encouraged’ to be ‘allies’ of the rainbow types. Being an ‘ally’ means you actively demonstrate your ‘support’ or loyalty to the rainbow, failure to do so singles you out. Many employees don’t actually believe in this shit but they do not want to jeopardize their livelihood so they succumb to peer pressure. This is not my opinion or some conspiracy theory.
If Trump gets elected he needs to ban DEI from the military and all FedGov agencies.
Wait, are you stoned?
Anal for the win.
