I have a wealthy friend (legal immigrant) who spends millions on backing political causes and candidates. He has gotten a couple good guys elected. All he asks of them is to be loyal to the constitution. All of the guys he has gotten elected have gotten shut out once they are in DC because they won’t play the ‘Game’. No committee positions and no co-sponsoring of their bills. That’s why the Perma-Party hates Trump and that’s why it’s so maddening to hear voters whine about the one outsider that has finally gotten into a position to slow down the collapse. It’s voter ignorance and the ‘I don’t completely agree with him’ syndrome kicking us in the teeth.
“The Enemy of Good is Perfect”. Most individuals don’t agree 100% with their own spouse so you probably won’t agree completely with any politician.
